Crew have the right to ask what you hold about them and to have it put right. Handling these requests quickly and calmly is part of looking after their data.
What Crew may ask for
Most requests fall into three types. Exact rights vary by country, so check what applies where you operate.
Request | What to do |
|---|---|
A copy of their data | Ask the Crew member to contact Liveforce support, who will share a copy of their data with them. |
A correction | Crew can update their own profile in the Crew App. Admins can also amend profile data. |
Deletion | An Admin with the delete Crew permission can delete the Crew member from your company. This doesn't affect other agencies they work with. Their data is then handled according to your retention settings, and deleted data can't be restored. |
Respond promptly
Many data protection laws set a deadline of around one month to respond, so check yours. Don’t wait until the deadline is close, especially if Liveforce support needs to be involved.
Keep a record
Log every request: who asked, what they asked for, when, and what you did. Use whatever works for your team, such as a shared spreadsheet.
What good looks like: Log every request, respond promptly, and point Crew to support for a copy of their data.
